Due to Rabbi Yaish‘s warm, caring and open minded nature, he enjoys working with different facets of the Jewish community; Reform, Conservative, Orthodox and Unaffiliated.

Additionally Rabbi Yaish is able to conduct Ashkenazi, Sephardi &  Yemenite bris services.

Background:

Rabbi Yaish grew up in Brooklyn NY. He attended Day School and then went on to Yeshiva University for his undergraduate degree in business all while being immersed in Torah study. Rabbi Yaish was active in Bnei Akiva, NCSY, Yachad- mainstreaming special needs youth and adults, and a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician via Hatzolah in NYC.

Training: 

He went on to complete his general Rabbinical studies in Jerusalem under the tutelage of Rav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg from Machon Lev. Rabbi Yaish then learned and completed a rigorous course of study in the laws and traditions of Brit Milah under Rav Yehuda Giat of Jerusalem. At the conclusion of this training Rabbi Yaish was ordained as a certified Mohel.

  • Being a LAVE facilitator (Life and Values Education – program run in over 20 NJ Hebrew/Religious Schools)
  • Completed a Masters in Education at Loyola University in Chicago Illinois
  • Assistant Principal of two Yeshiva High Schools in NJ
  • Principal of JEPY Religious school. Jewish Enrichment Program for Youth.
  • Assistant Rabbi, Youth in Livingston NJ
  • Director of Camp HASC. Hebrew Academy for Special Children.
